How It Works

<div>Contribute: Earn points by adding lyrics, bios, albums, edits, translations, annotations, facts, and media.</div>

Step 1

<div>Get Approved: For some actions, contributions are reviewed by Admins, Artists, or Initial Submitters. For other actions, such as posting on the forums or adding song lyrics, no approvals are required and you'll earn the points automatically.</div>

Step 2

<div>Level Up: Accumulate points to advance through the levels. See below.</div>

Step 3

<div>Redeem Rewards: Higher levels unlock exclusive benefits such as early access, merch discounts, and platform features.</div>

Step 4

User Levels & Rewards

<ul><li>Contributions must be original, accurate, and formatted correctly.</li><li>Quality counts. Forum posts or annotations that receive 30 likes or more will earn you a 50-point bonus - rewarding thoughtful, impactful contributions.</li><li>You can’t do the same activity multiple times and earn points multiple times.</li><li>Artists can contribute but do not earn points.</li><li>Some submissions are subject to approval before points are granted.</li><li>Suggesting an edit is to improve an existing contribution.</li><li>Only if approved will 5 points be granted.</li><li>Song facts and media additions are locked after submission; only the initial user, admin, or artist can edit them.</li><li>If a user deletes their own entry, they lose the points earned for that action.</li><li>Admins have final say on deletions and rule enforcement.</li><li>Rewards are subject to change.</li></ul>
